We had the absolute pleasure of working in the beautiful Cambo in Northumberland today. Our client – Cambo Community Orchard – required the tree removal of two Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) trees which had outgrown their space in the graveyard, and the crown lift of two large Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) overshadowing the newly planted orchard.

Rigging being used during the tree removal to ensure no damage to objects below.
The removal work was rather delicate and required use of careful rigging techniques to ensure nothing was damaged or disturbed underneath the trees.

The crown lifting was carried out directly over the newly planted orchard and this too required some careful rigging as well as choice cuts to ensure the minimum growth was removed for maximum effect.
